This full-time position operates in a remote setting, allowing LCSWs to connect with clients in the comfort of their own environments while maintaining flexibility. Although the majority of work is conducted online, our detox center employs a highly collaborative model, enabling our team to support each other in providing the best care possible. Regular virtual team meetings and ongoing training sessions ensure that all team members remain aligned with our organizational goals and the latest best practices in social work.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in our detox center, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and their recovery journey.
• Participate actively in developing and implementing Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) that align with clients’ specific goals and needs.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress by tracking outcomes and ensuring that the ITP is effectively followed through.
• Provide one-on-one counseling and support to clients, helping them develop coping mechanisms and strategies for lasting recovery.
• Facilitate family support sessions, working collaboratively with loved ones to build a strong support network for each client.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and methodologies to enhance client engagement and positive outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal and state regulations regarding client information.
• Foster a healthy therapeutic relationship by establishing rapport with clients and utilizing a respectful, compassionate approach to care.

This position primarily serves adults experiencing substance use disorders, often facing complex challenges such as co-occurring mental health conditions. Our team is focused on providing holistic support that considers the various social, emotional, and economic factors affecting recovery. As an LCSW, you will play a pivotal role in creating individualized care plans that prioritize the unique experiences and backgrounds of our clients.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensure by the Department of Public Health in New York, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A valid driver’s license, as local travel may occasionally be required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and treatment plans simultaneously.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

• A minimum of one year working directly with clients struggling with substance use or related issues.
