04 DESCRIPTION – (please read in detail)

We are looking for an individual who is an IT generalist; self-motivated, able to perform in an aggregate and high-pressure environment, professional and meticulous who can grow with our company. To be successful in this position, you will be required to pay attention to detail and accuracy, which is critical in your work responsibilities, as you will be working with a fast-paced team in a company that is rapidly moving forward. This is a very hands-on position with a great deal of self-reliance required. The goal is to create value for our client end users that will help preserve the Service Desk's value and reputation.

An excellent candidate must have a strong technical interest, client service skills, and be able to prioritize internal team and external client needs. An employee for this position must be able to swiftly and accurately respond to customer inquiries concerning systems and operations, as well as accurately diagnose IT issues. In this role, you must be customer-focused, proactive, professional, and exemplify patience, even if customers become frustrated. This position will provide services through phone, email, co-browse, and face-to-face contact (if needed).

As an IT Integration Support Specialist, you will collaborate directly with customers, IT partners and internal staff. This role provides internal application systems support, monitoring, setup and configuration, expertise in hardware and software installations, including but not limited to, troubleshooting, configuring, performing analytical, technical, and administrative work in the planning and installation of new and existing personal devices and workstations; diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer reported incidents, confers with end users to determine types of hardware and software required; installs new hardware and software and maintains existing components; trains end users in the use of equipment and software; performs general maintenance tasks; troubleshoots and resolves issues with user devices and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization; prepares progress reports for all work performed; evaluates products for compatibility, expandability, and ease of use and support; recommends to management the support or nonsupport of evaluated products.

05 RESPONSIBILITIES

Willingness to TRAVEL (if needed) with mileage reimbursed accordingly or company vehicle provided

Must have a professional, designated office area for approved remote work

Must also have a RELIABLE form of transportation, Internet, and cell phone

Must be TRUSTWORTHY and display a PROFESSIONAL, POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Exceptional customer service and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple calls and tickets with minimal supervision

Able to constantly balance multiple tickets and request in high pressure situations

Must be a team player and collaborate with other coworkers

Provides advanced level installation, support, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, core infrastructure (switching, routing, firewall) and other computer systems

Recommends improvements to current environments

Efficiently manages configuration of desktops, servers, core infrastructures and services (IIS, e-mail, AD, DNS, DHCP etc.)

Assists with planning for and responding to client project needs when applicable

Must be able to diagnose computer systems problems quickly and correctly and introduce the best solution

Ability to learn new technology quickly and accurately

Will be responsible for taking calls on an On-Call rotation

Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by Management

Must be punctual

06 EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

AS degree or above in Computer Science or related field experience.

Must have 4 yrs. plus experience as an IT Helpdesk Technician

Basic Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office environment

Experience with Asset Management and ITSM Platforms

Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills

Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel

Detail and customer service oriented

Critical thinking skills to resolve issues

Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as needed

Must have strong Microsoft Windows 10 hands-on experience

English fluency

Preferred Experience (Not required)

Certifications including MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CCNP and VCP
