This position is entirely remote, allowing the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space. You will have access to a comprehensive electronic health record system that enables efficient documentation, treatment planning, and tracking of client progress.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and build rapport, fostering a safe environment for open discussion.
• Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment goals and objectives, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to individual circumstances.
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to clients' unique challenges.
• Monitor and document clients' progress towards their treatment goals using our electronic health record system, ensuring each client's journey is tracked effectively.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure our clients receive holistic treatment.
• Educate and support clients' families, helping them understand mental health challenges and encouraging their involvement in recovery processes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Morris Care Consulting, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your role will be critical in promoting mental wellness across all ages, from children to seniors, and you will adapt therapy techniques to meet the evolving needs of your clients.

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of California.
• Required educational background includes a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards in all interactions with clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish a trusting relationship with a diverse range of individuals.

• Experience providing counseling or therapy services in a clinical or community-based setting is strongly preferred.
• Specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities or experience with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors is a plus.
• A strong background in using telehealth platforms for counseling is advantageous, as our services are provided remotely.
