Job description

Superintendent – Ground-Up Multifamily Construction

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Salary: $125,000–$165,000 Base + Benefits & Vehicle Allowance

We are partnering with an established construction company seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up multifamily projects in the Santa Rosa area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who has successfully managed multifamily construction from the ground up and is looking for a long-term home with a strong organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day field operations for ground-up multifamily construction projects

  • Oversee projects typically consisting of three-story multifamily buildings

  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics

  • Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved

  • Monitor quality, safety, and workmanship throughout construction

  • Work closely with Project Managers, ownership, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

  • Lead site meetings and proactively address field issues

  • Manage projects from initial site activities through completion and turnover

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction projects

  • Strong understanding of multifamily construction and sequencing

  • Experience managing projects from ground-up construction through closeout

  • Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
