• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ trauma histories and identifying suitable treatment methods.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and empower clients to build resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote their healing journey.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care which addresses all facets of a client's well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance for those in need.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to foster a comprehensive support system.
• Maintain stringent documentation practices in accordance with legal and ethical standards to uphold client confidentiality.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and developments regarding effective trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies related to trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Your role will primarily focus on supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, survivors of abuse, and individuals undergoing complex emotional challenges. By employing trauma-informed strategies, you will help facilitate their healing process, making a significant positive impact on their lives.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
• Proven competency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting compassion and professionalism when engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer proficiency.
