At Nutanix, you'll be joining the Global Practice team within our Professional Services division, a diverse and talented group of professionals comprising 10 members spread across the US, India, EMEA, and APAC. You will report to the Global Practice Leader - Cloud Infrastructure Practice. The work setup is fully remote, providing flexibility and the convenience of working from wherever you choose. There are no mandatory days to return to the office, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine. Travel requirements for the role may be as needed, but could be up to 30%, offering opportunities to engage with clients and team members in various locations while still prioritizing a flexible working environment.

Your Role

  • Define and lead the technical direction for Networking and Security services within the Nutanix global practice, ensuring alignment with emerging technology trends.

  • Create, update, and validate service offerings in collaboration with Product Management and deliver complex networking and security solutions to clients.

  • Act as the global Subject Matter Expert, enhancing the consultant skill set and knowledge through training programs and peer review processes.

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives including blogs, white papers, and reference architectures to position Nutanix as a leader in enterprise networking and security.

  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams to design strategic solutions for complex engagements, ensuring quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery quality, implementing improvements where necessary to uphold Nutanix's high standards.

  • Engage with customers to understand their business goals and translate them into effective networking and security architectures on the Nutanix platform.

  • Achieve a robust understanding of customer pain points and develop best practices that are repeatable across the consultant base within the first year.

What You Will Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with 8+ years focused on networking and security architecture.

  • Expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN) and deep understanding of service provider networking.

  • Strong knowledge of microsegmentation design, zero trust architecture, and next-generation firewall technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix Flow Virtual Networking and Flow Network Security or equivalent platforms.

  • Proficient in Kubernetes networking, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through successful delivery of complex network and security solutions.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; relevant industry certifications (CCIE, JNCIE) preferred.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 160,000 and USD $ 230,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
