Position Summary

The Senior Estimator leads the preparation of complex, high-quality bid proposals for utility construction projects, overseeing estimating processes, mentoring team members, and ensuring accurate, competitive estimates that support regional and organizational goals.

Job Function

  • Prepare and manage high-quality bid proposals.
  • Coordinate estimating efforts across assigned regions.
  • Perform cost challenges and quality reviews.
  • Oversee estimating processes and maintain standardized bidding practices.
  • Support development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and item databases in estimating software.
  • Analyze estimate performance versus actual project costs.
  • Provide weekly project status updates.

Education and Experience

  • Engineering, Business, or Technical degree preferred.
