POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sustainability Analyst I supports the Company's Sustainability and ESG programs by collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data related to conflict minerals compliance, responsible minerals sourcing, rare earth material sourcing, and customer sustainability surveys. This role partners with internal stakeholders to support regulatory reporting, customer requests, and internal sustainability initiatives while ensuring data accuracy, documentation integrity, and process consistency appropriate for a publicly traded company.

This position is based in Zeeland, MI. It requires onsite work and is not open to hybrid or remote work at this time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the Company's conflict minerals compliance program, including data collection, supplier followup, documentation management, and support of annual disclosures.

  • Assist with tracking and analysis of rare earth and other critical materials within the supply chain to support responsible sourcing and sustainability initiatives.

  • Coordinate the collection and organization of responses to customer sustainability surveys, questionnaires, and assessments, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

  • Collect, validate, and maintain sustainabilityrelated data from internal systems and external partners to support reporting and audit readiness.

  • Support preparation of internal and external sustainability disclosures, including inputs for sustainability reports and customerfacing documentation.

  • Maintain organized records, supporting documentation, and document management processes for sustainability and compliance materials.

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and Engineering departments to gather information and clarify data requirements.

  • Understand and follow OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development)diligence and/or other applicable framework and execute the company's responsible minerals policy throughout the supply chain.

  • Monitor evolving customer and regulatory sustainability requirements and escalate changes or risks as appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to different audiences.

  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience (internships or coops may be considered).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to manage detailed data and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

WHAT WILL HELP

  • Exposure to conflict minerals reporting (CMRT), responsible sourcing, or supply chain compliance.

  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, or customer sustainability assessments (e.g., EcoVadisstyle questionnaires).

  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams to gather and validate data.

  • Experience supporting sustainability or compliance reporting in a publicly traded company environment.
