Job Overview:

Need Oracle ERP consultant to support e-invoicing French mandate.

Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Deep understanding of French VAT laws, invoice legal requirements, and the distinction between e-invoicing scope and e-reporting scope.
  • Expertise in the lifecycle flow mandated by the French framework, including tracking real-time mandatory statuses.
  • Skill in auditing and validating critical data fields required by the DGFiP, such as SIREN/SIRET numbers, intra-community VAT IDs, and tax breakdown categorizations.
  • Proficiency with Factur-X, UBL 2.1, and CII XML data formats and schemas.
  • Understanding of the interaction model between ERP/Source Systems, Certified partner platforms (PA), and the Portail Public de Facturation (PPF).
  • Experience configuring enterprise middleware/APIs for continuous, automated invoice transmission and status polling.
  • Knowledge of EDI protocols, SFTP, REST/SOAP web services, and secure payload signing/certificates.
  • Ability to map subledger extractors (AR billing) to certified platform endpoints.
  • Experience setting up document sequence rules, automated tax engines, and error-handling workflows for rejected payloads.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support e-invoicing French mandate initiatives.
  • Manage invoice lifecycle tracking for domestic B2B transactions and cross-border reporting.
  • Audit and validate master data including delivery address formatting and VAT IDs.
  • Configure Oracle ERP subledger extractors and document sequence rules.
  • Redesign Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows to ensure compliance with e-invoicing standards.
  • Define operational playbooks for handling invoice rejections, credit notes, and status corrections.
  • Bridge communication between Finance, Tax, IT, Legal, and external Partner Platforms.
