About the Role

  • Drive the Appeal Process: Lead the charge on complex back-end appeals, specifically handling DRG appeals and complex denials within Epic.
  • Hit Your Strides: Comfortably ramp up to a daily production expectation of 45+ accounts per day while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Skills)
  • Epic Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Epic EMR, specifically focused on working DRG back-end appeals and denials.
  • Billing Specialization: Strong experience in either HB (Hospital Billing) or PB (Physician Billing) insurance collections.

  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Strong overall IT and computer skills; you navigate multiple screens, software, and portals with ease.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Skills)
  • Trend Spotter: The ability to identify underlying denial or reimbursement trends and report them to leadership in a professional, actionable manner.
  • Data Friendly: Solid experience using Microsoft Excel to track or organize data.
  • Remote Pro: Previous successful experience working from home (you know how to stay focused and self-motivated).

What's In It For You?
  • 100% Remote Flexibility: Work from the comfort of your dedicated home office.
  • Structured Training: A clear, guided training schedule during standard Central Time hours to set you up for success.
  • Competitive Pay: $22 to $24 an hour with a steady Monday through Friday schedule.
