Lead Epic Application Analyst (Prelude/Revenue Cycle)

Location: 100% Remote

About the Opportunity

Our academic healthcare provider client is seeking a Lead Epic Application Analyst to join a highly collaborative team supporting critical patient access and revenue cycle initiatives.

In this role, you will serve as an expert technical and operational leader responsible for Epic application strategy, implementation, optimization, and support. You'll partner closely with business stakeholders, operational leaders, and IT teams to enhance registration, authorizations, referral management, and revenue cycle workflows while leveraging automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and user experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Epic professional looking to make a significant impact while working in a fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Epic implementation, optimization, and support initiatives across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Prelude, Cadence, Grand Central, and related workflows
  • Partner with operational and clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Design, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic application solutions
  • Lead complex projects, workgroups, and cross-functional initiatives through all phases of execution
  • Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, and vendor-supported changes
  • Mentor and provide guidance to analysts and project team members
  • Analyze business needs and develop scalable technology solutions that support organizational objectives
  • Support strategic efforts focused on automation, innovation, and future-state workflow design
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve application issues and optimize system performance

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Epic implementation experience, including participation in multiple full Epic implementations
  • Epic certification in:
    • Prelude (strongly preferred)
    • Cadence and/or Grand Central
  • Deep functional knowledge of:
    • Patient Registration
    • Insurance Authorizations
    • Prior Authorization Workflows
    • Referrals
    • Revenue Cycle Operations
  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, or operational workgroups
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
