Mutual of Omaha is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support the data and analytics needs of the Direct Sales Center. This role operates in a fast-paced, results-driven sales call center environment and is responsible for providing call center, sales, and marketing report development for business units, monitoring recurring processes, and ensuring data accuracy and timely distribution of critical information.  
 
We're looking for someone who can balance detailed technical work with strategic thinking, collaborate effectively across teams, and confidently engage with associates, managers, and senior leaders to deliver insights that drive business decisions and growth. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications): 
    • Business Intelligence Developer:  $75,500 - $97,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Sr Business Intelligence Developer:  $86,000 - 114,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics needs into actionable solutions, leveraging call center, sales, and marketing data to drive informed business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data solutions that support business operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and deliver innovative, cost-effective reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity by defining and supporting data quality standards, monitoring recurring processes, and proactively identifying and resolving data issues.
  • Support business users by providing technical expertise, facilitating data implementations and enhancements, and helping teams maximize the value of reporting and analytics tools.
  • Utilize technologies including Snowflake, Tableau, Salesforce, AWS, and Copilot to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful data solutions. 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 3+ years experience with SQL and data analytics expertise with the ability to extract, analyze, and translate complex data from multiple sources into meaningful business insights.
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards and reporting solutions, including Tableau, that help drive performance and decision-making in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, present insights, and collaborate effectively with associates, leaders, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic and proactive mindset, capable of independently researching solutions, identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, balancing technical execution with business strategy while supporting evolving projects, priorities, and organizational goals.
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
