Job Summary:
Daybreak Game Company LLC is a recognized worldwide leader in massively multiplayer online games, known for popular franchises like DC Universe™ Online and EverQuest®. They are seeking a temporary QA Analyst to test various aspects of Magic the Gathering Online, which involves creating test plans, collaborating with developers, and advocating for player experience.
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute test plans for upcoming Card Content and Feature releases
• Collaborate with other analysts and developers to ensure thorough testing
• Verify changes across multiple environments
• Identify and test for edge cases outside of expected functionality
• Advocate for the player experience by giving qualitative feedback
• Prioritize tasks as they are assigned to QA
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proficient in QA Methodologies and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Raises visibility on issues
• 1 year of quality assurance experience
• Understanding of Magic the Gathering Rules and Gameplay
• Passion for games and Quality Assurance
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Working background in Quality Assurance or 1+ years in the gaming industry
• Working knowledge of the software development process
• Knowledge of Magic the Gathering required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• High School Graduate or equivalent
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Video Games on PC
