Job Summary/Company: 
Sparks Group has teamed with several prominent and successful companies in the Metro DC area to identify talented and motivated recent college graduates for accounting and finance roles. Responsibilities: 
  • Perform entry-level accounting or financial analysis functions that may include processing accounts receivable or processing accounts payable, or preparing financial statements
  • Support month-end close process
  • Assist with general ledger reconciliation
  • Develop forecast models
  • Consolidate and analyze budgets & income statement forecasts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Background profile: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business Administration or other relevant fields is a must
  • 0-3 years of accounting/finance-related internship or professional experience
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
