Life Mental State Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Provide consultation for pre-crisis and crisis planning, including behavioral guidelines and positive behavior support plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools in accordance with clinical team protocols to support effective treatment delivery.
  • Document all clinical activities promptly, meeting regulatory compliance standards to maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate actively with team members and stakeholders to enhance the quality of care and implement programmatic improvements.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and professional development activities, pursuing opportunities to grow your expertise.
  • Engage with community partners and state agencies to advocate for client needs and create new referral pathways.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive case management and support for clients across various service systems.
  • Promote our agency's mission and values in all professional undertakings and when representing the organization in community forums.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that contributes to the overall goals of the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will consist of supporting a diverse range of clients, from those facing emotional and psychological disturbances to individuals navigating the complexities of substance use recovery and other mental health challenges. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a deep understanding of their personal experiences and recovery journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory for this position.
  • Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida is required.
  • Strong clinical documentation skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports.
  • Excellent communication skills to work cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make independent clinical decisions based on professional guidelines and ethical best practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD $86,000 to $103,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
