• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, providing emotional support and expert guidance.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients about their emotional and psychological experiences, fostering a safe and trusting environment.
• Assist clients in setting achievable therapeutic goals and actively support them in reaching these objectives.
• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Maintain thorough and accurate records of client sessions while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

As a remote mental health counselor at Healing Mind Behavioral Clinic, you will primarily engage with screened adult clients who possess lower acuity needs. This demographic may include individuals coping with anxiety, mild depression, or life transitions. Our focus is on providing stable patients with consistent, quality care in a remote setting.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Current licensure to practice independently as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW without supervision is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach toward client care.
• Proficiency in using technology and online platforms for therapy sessions and documentation.

• Experience in telehealth or virtual counseling settings is highly desired, though not mandatory.
• Prior work with diverse populations or specialized fields within mental health counseling will be considered a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time counselors are entitled to a monthly healthcare stipend, ensuring access to necessary medical care. Additionally, counselors enjoy direct deposits on a weekly basis for their convenience.
