Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer โ€“ Data Loss Prevention & Messaging Security

Location: Remote role

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the secure deployment of the ShareFile Outlook Plug-In across our Microsoft 365 environment while minimizing the risk of data loss and improper data exposure. This role focuses heavily on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy, implementation, and validation across email clients, endpoints, and network security controls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the secure deployment and configuration of the ShareFile Outlook Plug-In with a focus on preventing data leakage.
  • Design and implement DLP controls across email, endpoints, and network gateways.
  • Assess and mitigate data exposure risks associated with email attachments, cloud file sharing, and external recipients.
  • Configure and manage Check Point Smart-1 (R82) security gateways, including access policies, HTTPS inspection, and logging.
  • Administer Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.62) policies aligned with endpoint-based DLP objectives.
  • Support all enterprise Outlook platforms, including New Outlook, Classic Outlook, and Outlook Web App (OWA).
  • Develop security documentation, risk assessments, and validation test plans.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, and Messaging teams.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of enterprise cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
  • Expertise with Check Point Smart-1 / Security Gateways (R82).
  • Expertise with Check Point Endpoint Security (E88.x, preferably E88.62).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 email and messaging architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with file-sharing platforms such as ShareFile or OneDrive.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP or compliance tooling.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.ย ย
