Job description

NewGen is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer with the following background. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure.
Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems.
Deploy Azure resources using Azure Pipelines such as Azure Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, and other core Azure resources. Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues and optimizing cloud resources.
Implementing and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Manage identity/access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems.
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Troubleshoot complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed.
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
Azure AVD image building and rotation
Designing, developing, deploying, and managing container orchestration through Kubernetes Configuring and managing Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and the underlying infrastructure
Automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
Provide support in assisting customers installing software onto baseline desktops using an automation first mentality (DSC or Packer). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in cloud administration and development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
Experience working in secure enclave environments and familiarity with security compliance frameworks Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, ARM templates
Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
