• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and establish individualized therapy plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a variety of clients, including adults, children, and families.
• Implement diverse therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in adherence with ethical guidelines and legal regulations, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively.
• Continuously engage in professional development opportunities, including workshops and trainings, to stay up-to-date with advancements in mental health practices.

You will work with diverse client populations who face various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Our clinic prioritizes serving individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources, making your role critical in promoting equity in mental health services within the Sacramento area.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards associated with mental health counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Familiarity with EMR software for documentation and client management.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
• Background in delivering group therapy sessions and implementing community outreach programs.

• The salary for the LPCC position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, depending on experience and caseload.
