Compensation: $75,000โ€“$90,000 Base + Performance Bonuses (Based on Experience)

Amber Boyd Law is seeking an Intake Attorney to serve as the first legal point of contact for prospective clients. In this role, you will lead consultations, assess the strength of potential claims, and guide qualified clients toward engagement with the firm.


This is a highly client-facing, performance-driven position. Your ability to evaluate cases, communicate clearly, and build trust quickly will directly impact case quality and firm growth.


This is not a back-office role. This is a front-line attorney position focused on consultations, client decision-making, and conversion.

Client Consultations (Primary Focus)

  • Lead initial consultations via phone and video
  • Ask structured, strategic questions to evaluate legal claims
  • Identify viable cases aligned with firm criteria
  • Clearly explain legal options, risks, and next steps
  • Build trust quickly with clients in high-stress situations
  • Confidently guide qualified prospects toward engagement


Client Intake Conversion

  • Manage the intake process from consultation through retention
  • Maintain strong consultation-to-client conversion rates
  • Address client concerns and objections with confidence and clarity
  • Ensure clients feel informed, supported, and ready to move forward


Client Experience Communication

  • Deliver a high-quality, empathetic client experience
  • Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospective clients
  • Set clear expectations regarding process, timelines, and next steps


Internal Collaboration

  • Document all consultations and case details in the CRM the same day
  • Coordinate with intake staff, paralegals, and attorneys

Qualifications:
  • Active U.S. bar license (Indiana or ability to become licensed preferred)
