Utilizing teletherapy technology, you will conduct virtual sessions, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining rapport with patients. • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma histories and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—to facilitate trauma recovery and foster resilience.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to create a supportive atmosphere for patients to process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and promote healing.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide cohesive and integrated care for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients through acute distress with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance overall well-being.
• Maintain compliant and confidential documentation regarding assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending case consultations, training sessions, and team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Our patient focus centers around individuals who have experienced trauma, including those battling PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This population often requires nuanced understanding and specialized interventions to address their unique challenges. You will work closely with these individuals, offering them the support and guidance they need to reclaim their lives while cultivating resilience and recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable navigating electronic documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting, maintaining a focus on integrated care.
