Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote team. This full-time position offers an opportunity for mental health professionals who wish to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families in need of support. You will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized care, fostering emotional well-being, and guiding clients toward personal growth.

About the Organization

Located in Tampa, Florida, Gotham Enterprises Ltd operates a Community Health Clinic that prioritizes accessible mental health services. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to those facing mental health challenges, especially individuals and families who have limited access to these vital resources. Our team consists of professionals who are committed to inclusivity, empathy, and professionalism.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and the potential to create a work-life balance that suits your needs. As a fully remote employee at Gotham Enterprises, you will enjoy a supportive virtual environment that encourages collaboration through digital communication tools, ensuring you are connected with your colleagues and clinical teams. A flexible schedule accommodates various personal commitments while maintaining the quality care our clients deserve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clientsโ€™ mental health needs, establishing a strong therapeutic alliance from the outset.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needsโ€”these may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that each session is structured to foster open communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care, attending regular meetings to coordinate treatment plans and share insights.
  • Participate in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to stay informed about the latest advancements and practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with underrepresented individuals and families, many of whom may be experiencing barriers to accessing traditional mental health care. Your role will focus on treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in building trust and helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential for this role.
  • An active, unrestricted Professional Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida is required.
  • At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is necessary to ensure you are capable of handling diverse client needs.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EMR software and other relevant digital tools for documentation and client management.
Preferred Experience
  • Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma therapy, or substance misuse treatment are greatly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in community health settings will give candidates a distinct advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
  • An attractive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and available caseload.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage provided to ensure your peace of mind while you practice.
  • Access to a steady flow of client referrals, lessening your burden in client acquisition.
  • Support for billing and documentation to help streamline your workload and enable you to focus on patient care.
  • A substantial sign-on bonus for new hires, details of which will be discussed during the interview process.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Gotham Enterprises, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and professional development. You will have opportunities for advancement within our organization, whether by taking on leadership roles, moving into specialized areas, or participating in advanced training programs.
