This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in your schedule while providing essential services to clients. You will engage in virtual therapy sessions utilizing secure video conferencing platforms to maintain confidentiality and ensure a supportive atmosphere. Our outpatient office model provides a community-based approach, emphasizing accessibility and consistent engagement with clients in various stages of their mental health journey.

• Complete and maintain crisis alerts to coordinate with county crisis services for participants efficiently.
• Document transitions between hospital/inpatient services and program transfers while collaborating with hospital staff to ensure safe discharges and continuity of care.
• Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques effectively to support clients during critical moments, particularly during your role as Clinician of the Day.
• Conduct and document comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Ensure timely documentation is completed on the same day for clients at increased risk of requiring crisis services.
• Fill out critical incident reporting forms within 24 hours when necessary, adhering to organizational standards.
• Participate in after-hours phone support on an alternating schedule to provide ongoing care coordination.
• Engage proactively with clients to prevent the escalation of crises, fostering independence and resilience wherever possible.
• Adhere to additional duties as requested to support the team's goals and facilitate optimal client outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Clear Mindcare Counseling Services, you will work primarily with a diverse adult and adolescent client population facing various mental health challenges. You will address concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, and trauma to more complex issues requiring integrated care approaches. Our focus is on empowering clients through personalized interventions that respect their cultural contexts and individual experiences.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.
• A valid independent license in the state of Oregon as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain composure in crisis situations.
• Demonstrated empathetic listening capabilities and the ability to engage effectively with clients.

• Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, preferably in outpatient or community settings.
• Ability to manage high caseload volumes efficiently while delivering quality mental health services.
• Expertise in developing risk assessments and safety plans tailored to diverse client needs.
• Proven ability to motivate others and foster a positive therapeutic environment.
