• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather information about patients’ trauma histories, leading to individualized treatment planning.
• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing the resilience of patients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients on their healing journeys.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards as well as organizational policies.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities related to trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the delivery of effective care.

The primary focus of this role involves working with individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and have distinct needs shaped by their unique life experiences. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is critical.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools to maintain documentation effectively.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience focused on trauma therapy is preferred, demonstrating competency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong knowledge base in resilience-building approaches will be advantageous.
