• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to craft individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic services, including individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Employ various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients, working with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records and documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards within the field.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and training to stay current on the latest mental health research and practices.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will focus on a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals and families facing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties. Many of our clients come from marginalized communities and may have limited access to traditional mental health care. Your expertise in navigating complex emotional landscapes will be crucial in providing them with the support and care they deserve.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and technology for effective documentation and client management.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience in providing community-based services and engaging with clients from underserved populations.
