Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to deliver therapy and support from home while maintaining a work-life balance. Your daily schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the varying needs of our patients. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring accessibility for all individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, evaluating each patient's trauma history to establish effective treatment approaches.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, resilience, and the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques to fit various patient scenarios.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate holistic and integrated care for each patient.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health counseling, specifically related to trauma.
