Gotham Enterprises Ltd is looking for an empathetic and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. As a full-time member, you will primarily work remotely to provide essential mental health support to individuals dealing with the profound impacts of trauma. Our outpatient services focus on addressing complex issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to create a safe space for trauma survivors, ensuring they receive the support and tools necessary for effective healing.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to deliver therapy and support from home while maintaining a work-life balance. Your daily schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the varying needs of our patients. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring accessibility for all individuals we serve.

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, evaluating each patient's trauma history to establish effective treatment approaches.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, resilience, and the unique needs of each patient.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques to fit various patient scenarios.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and connect with others facing similar challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate holistic and integrated care for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely responses to acute patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for organization and efficiency.
• Engage in team consultations and professional development activities to enhance your understanding of trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in trauma therapy research and practices to continually elevate the quality of care provided.

Our practice primarily serves adults experiencing the consequences of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients, providing them with the skills and support they need to navigate their recovery journey effectively.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT, or PsyD in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health counseling, specifically related to trauma.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment models.
• Proficient in utilizing EHR systems, equipped with the skills to adapt to various digital platforms for remote counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Proven ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios and provide level-headed support.
• A collaborative mindset, keen on working within a multidisciplinary team environment to enhance patient care.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, contributing to positive clinical outcomes.
• Experience in leading group therapy sessions, fostering peer support among patients.
• Knowledge of local community resources to support holistic patient care beyond our facility.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
