This is a fully remote position based in San Jose, California. As a virtual therapist, you will engage with clients through secure video chat sessions, allowing for convenient access to mental health support. This role eliminates the need for physical office presence while enabling you to contribute to significant patient outcomes from anywhere.

• Conduct virtual one-on-one video sessions to assess and enhance the mental health of clients.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients about their emotions, experiences, and relational dynamics to cultivate self-awareness and personal growth.
• Act as a client advocate, helping them to articulate their personal goals and the steps required to achieve them.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to assess mental health conditions and design tailored treatment plans employing solution-focused methodologies.
• Document and maintain detailed records of clinical sessions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and mental health professionals to share best practices and enhance integrated care approaches.

The focus of your work will be on adults experiencing stable and low-acuity mental health issues. You will provide assessment and treatment services aimed at equipping individuals with the necessary skills to improve their quality of life. Your efforts will directly contribute to the well-being and empowerment of clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Possession of an independent mental health license, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills necessary for video conferencing and electronic health record management.

• Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Proficient in solution-focused therapy techniques and counseling methodologies.
• Experience with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms.
• Ability to handle diverse populations and a range of mental health issues.

• Attractive salary range of USD $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
