Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, facilitating a flexible work arrangement that allows you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home, or another environment of your choice. Utilizing advanced telehealth platforms, you will communicate with your clients through secure, HIPAA-compliant video chats, ensuring a safe and confidential space for their treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual counseling sessions to support clients in managing their mental health issues.
• Utilize empathetic listening skills to encourage clients to articulate their emotions, thoughts, and experiences, fostering a better understanding of their mental well-being.
• Advocate for client wellness by assisting them in identifying personal goals and developing achievable action plans.
• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' psychological conditions, leading to the creation of well-informed, solution-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients' progress and treatment interventions in compliance with clinic protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with adult clients who present with a variety of mental health concerns. The clinic focuses on individuals who are considered low-acuity, allowing for a more proactive approach to therapy that emphasizes skill development and quality of life improvements. Your work will enable clients to gain the necessary tools to thrive in their daily lives while fostering resilience and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent mental health license, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Demonstrated proficiency in technology and telehealth systems, ensuring seamless communication and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess a solid foundation in solution-focused therapy approaches and have experience conducting virtual counseling sessions. Additional desirable traits include strong decision-making capabilities regarding treatment planning and a compassionate demeanor that fosters trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
