Your day-to-day tasks as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will include:

• Conducting secure, confidential teletherapy sessions with both individuals and groups, providing personalized support aimed at fostering emotional healing.
• Performing comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs and collaborating on the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Offering immediate support in crisis situations, ensuring clients' safety and stability while implementing appropriate intervention strategies.
• Guiding clients toward essential community resources and social services that directly enhance their overall mental well-being and quality of life.
• Maintaining precise electronic records of client interactions, progress notes, and therapeutic plans in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams specializing in various aspects of mental health to deliver coordinated care.
• Providing education on coping mechanisms, effective communication skills, and self-care practices to empower clients in managing their mental health.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with emerging trends and best practices in clinical social work and teletherapy.

You will support a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and various psychosocial challenges. Your approach will be tailored to each client, ensuring culturally sensitive and individualized care. Furthermore, you will work with a broad age range of clients, adapting your therapeutic methods to suit different developmental needs.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, although additional experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technology to deliver effective remote therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly for digital interactions.
• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in therapeutic practice.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting while demonstrating accountability and professionalism.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs across different time zones.
