Job description

We are seeking an experienced Remote Educational Sales Representative to promote accounting and business textbooks, educational materials, and related learning solutions to colleges and universities nationwide. This is a strong opportunity for a higher education sales professional with an established academic network and a track record of building relationships with faculty, department chairs, and academic decision-makers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, long-term relationship development, and helping educational institutions identify materials that support student success. Candidates can expect a professional, relationship-driven environment with supportive leadership, flexibility, and the opportunity to grow new accounts within the higher education market.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote accounting and business educational materials to colleges, universities, faculty, and academic departments nationwide.
- Build and maintain relationships with professors, department chairs, program leaders, and academic decision-makers.
- Leverage an existing higher education contact network to generate leads, referrals, and new sales opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, presentations, follow-up, and course adoption support.
- Develop new accounts and expand the higher education customer base through consistent business development activity.
- Stay informed on academic purchasing cycles, course adoption timelines, and faculty needs within accounting and business programs.
- Promote accounting and business textbooks, educational materials, or related academic solutions to higher education institutions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $54,608 to $65,765 per year.
- Flexibility to discuss a commission structure and additional earning potential for the right candidate.
- Remote role.
- Full-time or part-time schedule available, with full-time preferred.
