• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' emotional, social, and financial needs, with an emphasis on identifying barriers to learning.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions aimed at addressing adjustment issues, grief, and coping strategies, tailored to the school-age population.
• Work collaboratively with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive support plans that align with educational goals.
• Facilitate and coordinate with community organizations to identify and arrange post-discharge services to ensure students receive continuous care.
• Educate students and their families on mental health resources and treatment options, helping them navigate the educational and healthcare systems.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, offering timely support and stabilization techniques to students facing acute mental health challenges.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute your expertise on social work-related matters to enhance overall student wellness.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of services provided in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.

This role focuses predominantly on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges.
