This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your home. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Medical Director and other clinical staff while managing a caseload that reflects your experience and availability. • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment for patients, ensuring seamless care within the clinic and in external settings.
• Provide targeted mental health in-service training to our medical, psychiatric, and security teams, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health matters.
• Intervene effectively in mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate crisis intervention methods.
• Participate in commitment hearings as required, representing the clinic's interests in coordination with established protocols.
• Develop and continuously update individualized treatment plans and goals for patients, tailoring approaches based on their unique needs and circumstances.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with clinic policies.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinic procedures.
• Confirm the mental health history of patients, including verification of any psychotropic medications previously prescribed.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to track patient progress and program efficacy, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate post-release referrals, fostering continued care for patients transitioning out of the clinic.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois is essential for this role.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions is highly preferred.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, with the potential for bonuses based on performance.
