Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide essential services from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment for patients, ensuring seamless care within the clinic and in external settings.
  • Provide targeted mental health in-service training to our medical, psychiatric, and security teams, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health matters.
  • Intervene effectively in mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate crisis intervention methods.
  • Participate in commitment hearings as required, representing the clinic's interests in coordination with established protocols.
  • Develop and continuously update individualized treatment plans and goals for patients, tailoring approaches based on their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with clinic policies.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinic procedures.
  • Confirm the mental health history of patients, including verification of any psychotropic medications previously prescribed.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to track patient progress and program efficacy, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate post-release referrals, fostering continued care for patients transitioning out of the clinic.
