Job description

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?
As a PrizePicks Social Media Manager (Editorial), you'll own day-to-day content planning and programming across our organic social media accounts, ensuring we have a robust, always-on presence around sports and culture's biggest moments and storylines.
What you'll do:
  • Develop always-on editorial plans and lead day-to-day management of PrizePicks social accounts across platforms, including, but not limited to: X, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Produce content for distribution across channels, optimizing content for each platform.
  • Manage a 1-2 week rolling content pipeline, finalizing plans weekly to account for new storyline developments and a robust always-on social content calendar.
  • Support channel planning for integrated marketing campaigns and tentpole events.
  • Track the ongoing player, league, team, and cultural storylines that matter to the PrizePicks audience, surfacing insights that inform planning and execution across the full social media & community team.
  • Conduct content and channel reporting to measure performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and inform future strategies.
  • Participate in strategy and campaign planning sessions, ideation sessions, reporting syncs, and other internal and cross-functional processes.
What you have:
  • A strong editorial instinct - you understand cultural momentum, narrative arcs, and how to translate both into content that resonates on social.
  • Creativity and outside-the-box thinking - you're not afraid to take smart risks and try new unconventional approaches.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end social media management, including content planning, content creation, channel programming, and reporting & analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of sports and culture storylines, with the ability to quickly identify which storylines are worth jumping on and which aren't.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their organic best practices, with a focus on X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads in particular.
  • Deep understanding of and engagement with internet culture and humor, and social-first formats.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced, robust, always-on content pipeline without letting balls drop.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills - this role sits at the intersection of editorial, creative, and product marketing, and requires clear cross-functional partnerships.
  • Familiarity with the PrizePicks brand and product, and the daily fantasy sports industry, is a plus.
Where you'll live:
  • While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote
