A strong interest and appreciation for computer technology is a mustโ€”candidates should be tech-savvy and eager to learn more. A writing/reporting focus at school is strongly recommended. Published writing samples are a huge plus.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with product testing and draft reviews under editorial guidance
  • Write news and longer-form articles on the latest tech products and services, along with how-to and tips stories
  • Participate in the editing process and assist with proofreading and formatting stories
  • Work on other editorial projects as needed
 
 Job Qualifications:
  • Availability to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Our offices are in New York City, so local candidates are preferred, but we will consider remote candidates
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrable writing and/or editing experience (beyond classwork)
  • A strong affinity for technology
  • A willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated, with the adaptability to pitch in where and when needed
