As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Life Engagement Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct clinical services to clients in their homes or through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort for those with mental health challenges.
• Conducting brief, evidence-based assessments and creating individualized care plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
• Monitoring client progress through regular check-ins and assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate access to additional services and support resources.
• Implementing crisis intervention strategies effectively, leveraging your skills in risk assessment and management to ensure client safety.
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously build your skills and contribute to team goals.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Actively engaging in the development and implementation of preventive outreach programs to educate the community about mental health topics.

This role primarily serves children, adolescents, and their families, many of whom come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. You will be addressing complex mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma. Your work will have a profound impact on helping students navigate their challenges and promoting emotional well-being both within school environments and at home.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentials in the state of Florida.
• A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, preferably in educational or community settings.
• Demonstrated understanding of ethics in social work, particularly when working with minors and vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to connect empathetically with clients from various backgrounds.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.

Preferred experience includes familiarity with evidence-based therapy practices and developmental psychology. Experience working in a school setting or in community health environments is also highly desirable.
