Position Overview

Sunrise Spring Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake interviews to evaluate clients' needs and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and therapeutic strategies based on evidence-based practices and individualized care approaches.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions while utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to diverse client needs.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide referrals to external healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, as needed for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in training sessions, workshops, and supervision meetings.
• Be an active participant in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to enhance team effectiveness and client services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including adolescents and adults grappling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your expertise will be critical in providing culturally informed treatment tailored to the unique backgrounds and life experiences of each client. Building rapport and maintaining trust through empathetic and compassionate care will be of utmost importance in fostering positive therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience providing counseling services.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and other relevant software applications.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and legal guidelines in all aspects of practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing group therapy sessions with a focus on healing community and connection among participants.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling best practices.
• Background in working with diverse populations, enhancing understanding of the cultural factors affecting mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
