Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and interviews.
• Design and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing effective communication techniques to engage patients and foster a supportive environment.
• Develop and lead psychoeducational workshops or support groups, enhancing awareness of mental health issues and providing tools for coping and resilience.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to offer integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services, assessing and addressing urgent patient needs during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), documenting patient progress while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, including training on the latest therapeutic techniques and current mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sunrise Spring Counseling Center, our patient population includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. We serve a diverse demographic, offering our therapists a chance to make meaningful differences in the lives of clients from various backgrounds, ages, and circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW in Massachusetts is a prerequisite for this role.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches.
• Proven expertise in conducting mental health evaluations and developing effective treatment strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathically with patients.
• Proficient understanding of software applications related to EHR and case management.
• A commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
• Experience in outpatient mental health settings with knowledge of community resource integration.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
