  • Maintain documentation of client interactions in accordance with industry standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources, to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. You will be expected to adapt your therapeutic approach to suit the unique cultural backgrounds and lived experiences of each client, ensuring they feel heard and understood throughout their healing process.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensure: A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with various mental health conditions is necessary.
  • Skills: Strong crisis intervention skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity and comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual communication tools are crucial.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering individual and group therapy in a telehealth setting, demonstrating cultural competence and humility.
  • Knowledge of community resources, support systems, and referral processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to team goals and fostering a positive workplace culture.
