Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Description:
Candidate must be proficient in maintaining a sterile field.
Foley catheter insertion is required for specific units.
Travelers will complete educational sessions on lifts, restraints, and wound care.
Shifts are 6 am to 6:30 pm, with a weekend requirement of 4 shifts per 4 weeks.
Call shifts will vary between 6 to 10 shifts per schedule with a 30-minute response time required.
The unit has 3 main beds, including an EP and a hybrid room for both vascular and cardiac cases.
The case volume is between 10 to 25 cases per day, and the RN will circulate but not scrub.
Experience with Cerner and Xper EMR is required.
The hospital will cover holiday shifts based on unit coverage needs.
Standard certifications required include BLS and ACLS.
The nursing staff will collaborate with certified rad techs.
Common patient diagnoses include interventional cardiology, vascular procedures, and specific cardiac interventions.
Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment duration.
Applicants must demonstrate competency in critical nursing skills and adhere to response time expectations.
