Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Regularly meet with clients to track their progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide therapeutic tools and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Document client interactions and maintain updated records in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Engage in crisis intervention as necessary while maintaining a calm and supportive demeanor in challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, as well as individuals facing substance abuse challenges. Your ability to understand and address the unique cultural and psychosocial factors affecting each client will be crucial to their therapeutic progress.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license in Texas as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • Minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural competence.
  • Skills in providing both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a responsive and inclusive therapeutic approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and general computer applications.
  • Dedication to ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering teletherapy services and adapting interventions for virtual settings.

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
