Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clientsโ€™ mental health status, identifying underlying issues and developing effective treatment strategies.

  • Engage with clients in regular counseling sessions, guiding them through therapeutic exercises, and equipping them with coping mechanisms to manage their challenges.
  • Document clinical notes and treatment progress in electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, referring clients to psychiatrists or other specialists as appropriate to enhance their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients facing a variety of mental health disorders, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex issues such as trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will interact with diverse age groups, including adolescents, adults, and families, adapting your therapeutic approach to best fit their unique circumstances and backgrounds.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
  • A valid state-issued counseling license (LPC) is mandatory.
  • Proven clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and active listening skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

Compensation and Benefits
