Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status, identifying key issues affecting their wellbeing.
  • Design and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients facing various challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
  • Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with practical coping tools and strategies for overcoming their issues.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, referring clients as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR) to track progress and document treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and attend regular team meetings to share insights and improve overall therapeutic strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Strong foundation in various evidence-based treatment modalities and a deep understanding of mental health disorders.
  • Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience
