As an LPC, you will assess patients' mental health, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate healing and recovery.

About the Organization

Vitality Recovery Behavioral Health Center is a leading provider of mental health and substance use disorder services based in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to promote recovery and enhance quality of life for individuals struggling with various mental health challenges. We pride ourselves on our collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and innovation in therapeutic practices. With a commitment to excellence and compassion, we strive to provide our clients with the highest standard of care.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Our clinicians leverage a sophisticated virtual platform to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring access to quality mental health care for clients across diverse backgrounds and geographic locations. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive treatment plans are implemented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to inform individualized treatment strategies for each client.
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapy modalities tailored to the clientโ€™s specific needs. This may include approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, families, and groups, fostering an open and trusting environment conducive to healing.
  • Document all client interactions accurately, maintaining up-to-date records in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care and improve client outcomes.
  • Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping clients navigate their personal circumstances and achieve meaningful recovery and stability in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling or mental health setting is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within a telehealth context or familiarity with virtual therapeutic tools and methodologies is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including:

  • Access to an unlimited flow of client referrals, allowing you to focus primarily on therapy rather than marketing.
  • Administrative support for billing and paperwork management, streamlining your workload so you can concentrate on patient care.
  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your work-life balance needs.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays, providing you with well-deserved breaks to recharge.

At Vitality Recovery Behavioral Health Center, we are committed to the continuous professional development of our team members. You will have access to various training opportunities, workshops, and mentorship programs that foster growth in clinical competencies and leadership skills. As we expand our services, there may also be opportunities for advancement into supervisory or specialized roles within our organization.
