Ultimate Support Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments with patients to gauge their mental health status and establish a personalized treatment plan.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to create and implement therapeutic strategies aimed at alleviating mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
  • Facilitate regular follow-up meetings with clients, providing ongoing support and equipping them with coping tools tailored to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems to support compliance and quality of care.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery and share insights on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals grappling with various mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, necessitating a therapeutic approach that respects cultural differences and fosters an inclusive environment for healing.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in applying evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling you to engage with clients in a supportive manner and build lasting rapport.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant digital applications.
  • Engagement in continuing education or advanced certifications in specialized areas of mental health therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
