Job description

Salary:

RUX Software is a leading provider of ERP solutions for the asset management and field service industries, empowering organizations to operate with ironclad integrity, today and tomorrow. Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, our Business Applications deliver industry-grade functionality, seamless visibility, and streamlined operations in a single, frictionless system.

Were hiring a Business Central Consultant / Senior Consultant to own the functional implementation of RUX Rentals for new and existing customers. Youll work directly with customers (and our partner network) to translate rental and field-service operations into a configured, working BC environment from discovery through go-live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of RUX Rentals: discovery, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support
  • Map customer business processes asset tracking, rental contracts and billing, maintenance scheduling, dispatch to RUX Rentals and core BC functionality
  • Configure standard Business Central modules (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs/Projects, Fixed Assets) alongside the RUX Rentals extension
  • Partner with sales and solution architects on pre-sales discovery calls, demos, and scoping
  • Train customer admins and end users; build documentation, configuration guides, and process playbooks
  • Triage and resolve functional issues raised by customers or partners; escalate platform bugs to the product team with clear repro steps
  • Support implementation partners with enablement, configuration guidance, and best practices
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base and implementation methodology as the product and customer base grow

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Business Central functional consulting or implementation experience
  • Solid grasp of core BC modules: Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, Fixed Assets
  • Experience implementing in asset-intensive, rental, field service, or similar verticals (construction, industrial equipment, oilfield services) strongly preferred
  • Strong client-facing skills: requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, training delivery
  • Comfort working with ISV/vertical add-on products, not just out-of-box BC
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification a plus
  • Basic familiarity with AL extensions/customizations a plus, though this is a functional (not development) role

Benefits

  • A lead role in a fast-paced, growing Microsoft partner organization.
  • Collaborative, supportive team culture with a focus on client success.
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
