This position offers a generous salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and skills.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering quality psychotherapy services to patients with varying mental health issues, particularly those coping with terminal illness and grief. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patients' emotional and psychological needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Employing a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment approaches that align with individual patient preferences.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all patient information is secure and confidential.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including doctors, nurses, and support staff—to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care aimed at improving patient outcomes.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to foster professional development and enhance the quality of therapeutic practices.
• Providing education and support to patients’ families regarding coping strategies, mental health resources, and practical information related to end-of-life care.
• Staying informed about current research in mental health, integrating emerging evidence-based practices into your clinical approach.
• Managing a full caseload of patients, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans as patients’ needs evolve.

The primary focus of this role is on patients within a hospice setting who are experiencing a range of psychological and emotional challenges related to terminal illnesses, grief, and family dynamics in times of loss. You will play a crucial role in providing emotional support to patients and their loved ones, guiding them through complex feelings associated with impending loss and fostering a sense of peace and acceptance during this critical life stage.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy in various settings.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and strong theoretical knowledge of mental health interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with patients and their families.
