The Health Coach at Blueprint is a core clinical team member responsible for translating medical strategy into sustained behavior change. Health Coaches partner closely with physicians, care coordinators, and clients to implement personalized health plans grounded in evidence-based lifestyle medicine, precision data, and coaching science.
This is not generic wellness coaching. Health Coaches at Blueprint work with high-engagement clients, advanced diagnostics, and longitudinal goals focused on healthspan, performance, and disease prevention.
Requirements
As a Health Coach:
  • Partner with Blueprint physicians to implement personalized health plans derived from genomic, laboratory, imaging, wearable, and questionnaire data
  • Conduct scheduled coaching sessions via telemedicine focused on:
    • Nutrition and dietary pattern implementation
    • Physical activity and exercise adherence
    • Sleep optimization and circadian alignment
    • Stress regulation, resilience, and recovery
    • Habit formation and sustainable behavior change
  • Reinforce physician recommendations while maintaining appropriate scope and escalation pathways
  • Track progress, barriers, and outcomes using Blueprint's clinical and digital tools
  • Communicate regularly with physicians and Care Coordinators to ensure continuity and alignment of care
  • Support longitudinal reassessment and iteration of care plans
  • Document coaching interactions clearly and efficiently in the EMR or coaching platform

Clinical Integration & Quality:
  • Operate within Blueprint clinical protocols, scope-of-practice guidelines, and escalation standards
  • Participate in case conferences, care team meetings, and peer review processes as appropriate
  • Identify early signals of clinical deterioration, non-adherence, or risk and escalate to physicians promptly
  • Maintain coaching quality and performance metrics, including:
    • Client engagement and retention
    • Session completion and follow-through
    • Client satisfaction and experience metrics (e.g., NPS where applicable)
  • Contribute feedback on workflow, tooling, and operational improvements related to coaching delivery

Professional Development & Leadership (Role-Dependent):
  • Participate in ongoing education in lifestyle medicine, longevity science, and coaching methodology
  • Maintain active national certification and continuing education requirements
  • Mentor junior or onboarding Health Coaches as requested
  • Contribute to internal education, protocol refinement, and best-practice development
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:
  • National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)
  • Completion of an NBHWC-approved training program
  • Minimum 3 years of professional health coaching experience, preferably in clinical, concierge, or integrative care settings
  • Strong understanding of behavior change science, motivational interviewing, and habit formation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a data-driven, multidisciplinary clinical environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first model

Preferred Skills:
  • Background in lifestyle medicine, exercise physiology, nutrition, or behavioral science
  • Experience working alongside physicians in a medical or concierge practice
  • Familiarity with interpreting wearable data, and clinical recommendations (within scope)
  • Experience supporting high-expectation, high-engagement clients
  • Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMR documentation

Benefits
Salary Range: $70-90k + equity + benefits
