GovSG is seeking a Mid level SAP ERP Project Systems (PS) SME to own end-to-end PS work products for a workstream or capability area, driving design decisions, configuration, and integrated testing with upstream/downstream teams.
This position is remote but based out of Washington D.C..
Position Duties:
- Lead fit-to-standard / fit-gap workshops for PS and define future-state processes (project creation, planning, execution, period-end).
- Own functional design and configuration across key PS components:
- WBS and network structures, statuses, milestones, profiles
- budgeting/availability control concepts (often with Controlling/Investment Management alignment)
- cost planning/forecasting approach and reporting requirements
- settlement rules and period-end flows (to assets, cost centers, profitability segments, etc., depending on design)
- Define integration design and coordinate with other workstreams:
- MM (procurement commitments, goods receipts, invoice postings)
- FI/CO (actuals, allocations, period end, asset accounting where relevant)
- time capture (e.g., CATS or external) and activity confirmation
- SD (if customer projects/revenue scenarios apply)
- Produce high-quality functional specs for enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces; coordinate with developers.
- Lead SIT/UAT for PS scenarios; analyze defects for root cause (config vs. master data vs. integration).
- Support cutover planning, data migration strategy, and go-live readiness for PS.
- Provide functional leadership in hypercare: triage patterns, prioritize fixes, stabilize operations.

Demonstrated experience working with SAP Navy ERP systems

Proven expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing ERP Finance modules

Experience providing Tier 3 or advanced functional/technical support

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train diverse user groups

Understanding of Navy workflows and financial processes
Salary: $96,000- $104,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate will vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
