This role will primarily operate in a remote outpatient setting, facilitating the convenience of virtual therapy sessions while maintaining a strong focus on providing quality care. You will have access to cutting-edge telehealth technology and electronic health record systems to streamline your client management and documentation processes. • Conduct thorough, individualized assessments to understand each client's unique mental health concerns, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses and the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Administer individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, ensuring a personalized approach for every client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in acute emotional distress or facing significant life challenges, demonstrating your expertise in handling critical situations with care and sensitivity.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records by documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results in accordance with ethical and legal obligations.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of clients.
• Engage clients and their families in educational discussions regarding mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources, ensuring they feel empowered and informed throughout the therapeutic process.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices through continuous education, training, and attendance of relevant workshops.

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and more. You will have the privilege to support clients from various backgrounds and age groups in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

• A current and active license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Outstanding clinical assessment and diagnostic acumen.
• At least two years of related experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a supportive relationship with clients.
• The ability to work autonomously while also being a team player.
• A strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting may be beneficial but is not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Experience with teletherapy modalities and best practices.
