• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to formulate personalized treatment plans that meet each client's unique needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective interventions that foster client engagement and progress toward their mental health goals.
• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards, ensuring ethical practice and safeguarding client information.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Peoria Unified Health Center, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals from different cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among others. • A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, allowing you to craft tailored treatment plans for your clients.
