Job description

Overview

CORT is hiring a full-time Business Systems Administrator in Everett, WA. The Business Systems Administrator oversees the configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of CORT Party Rental’s core SaaS platform, Point of Rental. They act as the functional bridge between business departments and internal and external technical teams, ensuring business systems are optimized to meet organizational goals. 

This is a hybrid position, with work performed from the CORT Party Rental location in Everett, WA, and from a home office. Some travel to the CORT Party Rental office in Fife, WA will be required. 

Salary: $85,000-$92,000 / year depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • User Management: Provision, configure, and audit user accounts, access levels, and security profiles while monitoring compliance with internal security policies. 
  • System Configuration: Configure the platform to align with evolving business needs. Collaborate with the SaaS provider on feature requests, enhancements, and technical requirements. 
  • Integration Support: Monitor and support integrations into the core platform, including Tax, Payments, RFID, and Dispatch systems. Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate fixes with internal teams and vendors. 
  • Feature Rollouts: Coordinate with business managers to evaluate new features, conduct testing, deploy software updates, and assist with onboarding new third-party integrations. 
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain data integrity within the platform, including product catalogs, pricing, and fee structures. Build and maintain custom dashboards and reports for department leaders. 
  • Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily internal support regarding the core platform. Triage issues, track resolutions, and act as the liaison between business managers, internal I.T. and the SaaS platform provider. 
  • Training: Train team members on systems and tools. Create clear how-to guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Help teams adopt new processes and software updates smoothly. 
  • On-Site: Assist internal I.T. teams (remote) with new hardware activation. Triage issues and serve as point-of-contact between I.T. and business users. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or equivalent technical certifications (e.g. Salesforce Admin, ITIL Foundation) preferred 
  • 3 to 5 years of direct experience administering business-critical software applications (e.g. Jira, Salesforce, Hubspot, or Workday) required 
  • Strong proficiency in platform tools, basic API concepts, and advanced data manipulation (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools) required 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
