Terros Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. Work Environment

Our work facility is structured as a Community Health Clinic dedicated to serving the mental health needs of our clients. While this role is full-time remote, our professionals collaborate closely through daily virtual meetings, maintaining a supportive team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers, ensuring seamless communication throughout the treatment process.
  • Engage with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, advocating for appropriate resources and support for clients.
  • Participate actively in the discharge and aftercare planning to provide continuity of care and follow-up support for clients transitioning from intensive programs.
  • Implement therapeutic meal support, guiding clients in building a healthy relationship with food and addressing related psychological barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, with a special emphasis on older adults. The clients you serve may be dealing with complex issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges. Your expertise will be critical in navigating their individual needs and providing balanced, personalized support to facilitate their healing journey.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid LICSW license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience working with older adult populations, showcasing an understanding of their unique mental health needs.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, applicable in various therapeutic settings.
